With today’s insulation standards, the garage in the house is increasingly being replaced by a carport. Often, this is also equipped with an automated garage door.
The new generation of Sommer operators is optimised for operation in dry environments. In an environment with high humidity the standard pantograph with carbon brushes is best replaced by the carport kit.

When using the carport kit, the rail must be lubricated. Use only Ballistöl or WD40 for this purpose.
